Challenge
Being selected to paint a mural for Surface Festival 2024 meant creating a piece that could hold its own alongside dozens of other artists transforming the Gold Coast — while still standing out as distinctly mine within the festival's broader wall-to-wall street art trail.
Solution
Painted "Welcome to Miami" — a mural starring a self styled bogan beach angel lounging on the sand. Playful and unmistakably Aussie, it gave the suburb a bold new welcome sign and another stop on Surface Festival's mural trail.
