Challenge
I was commissioned to write an illustrate a monthly double page comic for Surfing Life Magazine. It was based around the adventures of a Skull Boy, a Bong and a slice of watermelon living together in space.
Solution
Created Space Boiee — a recurring cast of oddball characters getting into trouble across a new two-page strip every issue, giving Surfing Life readers a comic they'd flick to first each month, packed with the same laid-back, cheeky humour as the magazine's audience.
