Challenge
Following on from Birds of Prey, Globe Skateboards wanted a second character-driven series — this time for their surf/skate range — that captured the escapism of chasing a session even when the waves don't deliver.
Solution
We created the Wave Wizard series — a set of surf/skate decks (Chromantic, Frothy, Sun City, Thumpy) each with its own bold illustration and personality, channelling the fast, sorcery-like energy described in the collection's own copy and turning a skunked surf day into something worth riding anyway.

WAVE WIZARD SERIES
It’s hard work out there trying to make something outta nothing. That is, unless you’ve been skunked on waves and all you’re looking to do is get some turns in. If that’s the case this series of surf/skates is pure sorcery, and more than capable of bringing the vibe back to 100. The styling of these boards is fast and flammable, and the wheelbases are sharp and ultra responsive.
